Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner
and take it to a recycling centre.
Dispose of the article with the battery inserted at a recycling centre for used
electrical and electronic devices, and not in the household waste (!). For
more information, contact your local authorities.
Integrated batteries may only be removed by specialists for disposal. Opening the
housing may destroy the power tool.
To remove the battery from the power tool, keep pressing the operating switch (8) until
the battery is fully discharged. Unscrew the screws on the housing and take the housing
apart. To prevent a short circuit, disconnect the connections on the battery individually
and then isolate the poles. Even when it is fully discharged, the battery still has a residual
capacity that may be released in the event of a short circuit.
