Switching the LED Light On and Off
After Use / Storing Bit in the Bit Barrel
1. Move the rotation direction changeover switch (4) into the middle position after use.
This will lock the operating switch (8).
2. Grip the bit by the ring (10) and pull it out of the bit receptacle (12).
3. Turn over the bit and press it into the bit barrel (1) until it audibly engages.

Charging Up the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!
Only ever charge up the battery of the power tool with the mains adapter supplied
with it.
The power tool cannot be operated while it is still connected to the mains power. It is
not defective if it does not work during the charging process.
The Li-ion battery can be charged up at any time without shortening its lifespan. Inter-
rupting the charging process does not damage the battery.
LED charge status indicator (2) – If all three LEDs are lit up, the battery is full. If only
the red LED or no LED at all is lit up, the battery needs to be charged as follows:
1. Fully unwind the mains cable of the mains adapter.
4. Allow the battery to charge (for around 4 to 5 hours) until all 3 LEDs are lit up.
5. After charging, fi rst disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then
remove the barrel connector from the power tool.

The LED light makes it possible to illuminate the working area
if the general light conditions are poor.
Press the On / Off button (4) to switch the LED light (9) on and
off.
2. Insert the barrel connector on the mains cable into the
charging socket (7) of the power tool.
3. Connect the mains adapter to a properly installed plug
socket that is easily accessible. The voltage of the pow-
er source must match the data on the rating plate of the
mains adapter. The charging process then begins. The
handle (6) may become hot while the battery is charging.
This is normal.
