4.5 Anspielen aller Titel
Sollen alle Titel nacheinander für 10 Sekunden ange-
spielt werden, die Taste INTRO (3) drücken. Das
kann gleich nach dem Einlegen einer CD erfolgen.
Das Display signalisiert „INTRO", und das Anspielen
startet.
Wird die Taste INTRO bei normal laufender Wie-
dergabe an einer beliebigen Stelle gedrückt, springt
das Gerät auf den nächsten Titelanfang und startet
dort mit dem Anspielen. Am Ende der CD oder durch
nochmaliges Betätigen der Taste INTRO wird die An-
spielfunktion wieder abgeschaltet.
4.6 Wiederholung einzelner Titel oder der ge-
samten CD
1) Die Taste ONE/ALL (14) einmal drücken: der ge-
rade angewählte oder gespielte Titel wird wieder-
holt. Das Display signalisiert „REPEAT ONE".
2) Die Taste ONE/ALL ein zweites Mal drücken: die
komplette CD oder die programmierte Titelfolge
wird wiederholt. Das Display signalisiert „REPEAT
ALL".
3) Beim dritten Tastendruck ist die Wiederholfunk-
tion wieder ausgeschaltet.
4.7 Abspielen in zufallsbedingter Titelfolge
Die Titel der CD können nicht nur in fortlaufender
Reihenfolge abgespielt werden, sondern auch zu-
fallsbedingt:
1) Nach dem Einlegen der CD die Taste RANDOM
(2) drücken. Das Display signalisiert „RANDOM".
Die Wiedergabe startet.
2) Auch während der Wiedergabe in fortlaufender
Reihenfolge kann die Taste RANDOM betätigt
werden. Der CD-Spieler springt dann auf den
Titelanfang irgendeines Stückes.
3) Während der Wiedergabe in zufallsbedingter Rei-
henfolge kann mit der Taste SKIP
an den Titelanfang gesprungen werden und mit
der Taste SKIP
zum nächsten zufälligen
Titelanfang.

4.6 Repeat of individual titles or of the total CD
1) Push the button ONE/ALL (14) once: the title se-

ed. The display signalizes "REPEAT ALL".
3) With the third pushing the repeat function is

4.7 Playing in a random title sequence
The titles of the CD cannot only be played in a con-
tinuous title sequence but also at random:
1) After inserting a CD push the button RANDOM
(2). The display signalizes "RANDOM". The re-
play starts.
2) Also while replaying in a continuous sequence the
button RANDOM can be activated. The CD player
goes to the beginning of any title.
3) While replaying in a random sequence with the
button SKIP
it can be jumped back to the
beginning of the title and with the button SKIP
to the beginning of the next random title.
4) By activating the button RANDOM a programmed
title sequence is deleted.
5) The replaying in a random sequence can be stop-
ped by pushing the button RANDOM again (the
replay is continued in the normal sequence) or
with the button STOP
(19).
4.8 Repeat of a special section
1) While replaying the CD, push the button A
(13) at the spot at which the repeat is to start
(item A, fig. 4). The display signalizes "REPEAT"
and "A B", the "B" being blinking.
2) At spot B from which it has to jump back to spot A,
push the button A
B again. The "B" stops blink-
ing. The CD player goes back to spot A and re-

2) Am Punkt B, von dem zum Punkt A zurückge-
sprungen werden soll, die Taste A
drücken. Das „B" hört auf zu blinken. Das Gerät
springt zum Punkt A zurück und wiederholt den
Abschnitt zwischen A und B so lange, bis die
Taste A
B ein drittes Mal betätigt wird.

4.9 Zusatzfunktionen auf der Fernbedienung

4.9 Additional functions provided by the
remote control
The following functions are only possible with the re-
mote control of the CD player:
4.9.1 Change the display brightness
With the button DIMMER (26) the brightness of the
display can be changed in three steps.
4.9.2 Select index
If a title is subdivided into several indexes (indicated
in the table of contents on the CD packing), these
subdivisions can be selected with the buttons INDEX
(27)

4.9.3 Edit function with automatic CD recording
In connection with the MONACOR Double Tape
Deck TDD-2000 matching the CD player, an auto-
matical CD recording can be made. With the button
EDIT (25) the edit function to select titles and the
length of the recording cassette can be called up:
1) If the CD player is not in the stop mode, at first
push the button STOP
2) Push the button EDIT (25). (If the button EDIT
was accidentally pushed, the edit function can
only be switched off again with the button STOP
or the button OPEN/CLOSE (17).

3) The length of the recording cassette is displayed
in minutes behind the "C". The default value is
C-60. With the buttons SKIP (20) it can be de-
creased or reduced in steps of 15 minutes (min.
C-30, max. C-90).
4) In the display "EDIT A" is shown. This means that
in the display field (5) the titles are shown which

kann eine automatische CD-Aufnahme erfolgen. Mit
der Taste EDIT (25) wird die Editierfunktion zum
Auswählen von Titeln und der Länge der Aufnahme-
kassette aufgerufen:
1) Wenn das Gerät nicht auf Stop steht, zuerst die
Taste STOP
2) Die Taste EDIT (25) drücken. (Wurde die Taste
EDIT versehentlich gedrückt, kann die Editier-
funktion nur mit der Taste STOP
OPEN/CLOSE (17) wieder ausgeschaltet werden.)
3) Die Länge der Aufnahmekassette wird im Display
hinter dem „C" in Minuten angezeigt. Vorgewählt
B erneut
ist die Größe C-60. Mit den Tasten SKIP (20) kann
sie in Schritten von 15 Minuten erhöht oder verrin-
gert werden (min. C-30, max. C-90).
4) Im Display wird „EDIT A" angezeigt. Das bedeu-
tet, daß im Anzeigenfeld (5) die Titel angegeben
sind, die auf der Kassettenseite A aufgenommen
B
werden können. Durch Drücken der Taste EDIT
kann das Anzeigefeld umgeschaltet werden auf
die Titel der Seite B (Anzeige „EDIT B"). Vorge-
wählt sind so viele Titel in fortlaufender Reihen-
folge, wie auf der Kassette Platz finden.
5) Sollen andere Titel als angezeigt aufgenommen
werden, muß zuerst die Taste CLEAR (6) ge-
drückt werden. Im Anzeigefeld (5) werden alle
Titelnummer gelöscht.
6) Mit den Zifferntasten (9) die Titelnummern nach-
einander eintippen, die auf Seite A aufgenommen
werden sollen. Es werden nur so viele Titel ange-
nommen, wie auf der Kassettenseite A Platz fin-
den. Die Gesamtspielzeit der ausgewählten Titel
wird immer kurze Zeit nach der Titelanwahl im
Display zur Kontrolle angezeigt.
7) Für die Auswahl der Titelnummern auf Seite B die
Taste EDIT (25) kurz drücken und den Vorgang
von Punkt 6) wiederholen.

ing time of the selected titles is always displayed

7) For the selection of the title numbers on side B
shortly push the button EDIT (25) and repeat the
procedure of item 6).
8) The recording can be started with the button
CARS at the recorder.
5 Compling of Your Own Title Sequence
If only certain titles are to be played in any desired
order, the title sequence must be programmed.
5.1 Programming of the title sequence
1) A title sequence can only be programmed if the
CD player is in the stop mode! For this push the
(19).
button STOP
2) Push the button PROGRAM (7). In the display
"PROGRAM" is shown, and all title numbers in
the display field (5) are deleted.
3) With the digital numbers (9) insert the desired title
numbers one after the other. These title numbers
are shown in the display field (5).
4) Up to 32 titles can be programmed. It is also pos-
sible to programme the same titles several times.
The number of the programmed titles is displayed
behind the "P" for a short time. After that the total
playing time of all inserted titles is displayed.
