Blood drop symbol
Shows that the device is
ready to accept the
sample and to carry out
measurement.
Code
Appears together with the
test strip code number
when it is fed in.
Test strip symbol
Is displayed constantly as
long as the device is
carrying out various self-
tests. Flashes when device
is switched on and no test
strip has been fed in.
Ketone symbol
Important: if the measured
result is above 240 mg/dL
(13.3 mmol/L), the "KETONE"
and "?" symbols show a warning.
Repeat the measurement.

Measurement units

This field displays the units
(mg/dL or mmol/L) set.
Temperature symbol
Is displayed together with the
surrounding temperature.
Memory symbol
Displays saved measured results.
Date
The date (month and day)
is displayed here.
Battery symbol
