    Gebruik • Voordat u met de Elexo XXL gaat werken, controleert u of deze niet meer aan de lader aangesloten is. • Zorg ervoor dat bij cliëntentransfers de Elexo XXL altijd op de rem staat.

    2. Gebruik 2.1. Ingebruikname Voordat u de Elexo XXL in gebruik neemt, controleert u of de onderdelen van pagina 8 aanwezig zijn. Deze onderdelen kunnen bij schade worden vervangen door bevoegde personen. Deze onderdelen zijn de applied parts van de Elexo XXL. Deze onderdelen kunnen tijdens het gebruik van de Elexo XXL in contact komen met de gebruiker(s).

    • De Elexo XXL kan op de rem worden gezet door de grijze lip op het wiel in te trappen (Zie figuur 2). • Om de Elexo XXL van de rem af te halen moet de grijze lip weer naar boven worden gehaald.

  • Page 12: Armsteunen

    De armsteunen dienen niet te worden gebruikt als hefboom (bijv. bij het over een drempel manoeuvreren van de stoel) of als duw- / trekbeugel. Ook mag er niet op worden gezeten. Dit kan schade aan de Elexo XXL geven en / of gevaar opleveren.

    Omlaag bewegen • Het stoelgedeelte wordt omlaag bewogen door de bedieningsknop met de pijl omlaag in te drukken. Het zitframe van de Elexo XXL zal dan gelijkmatig dalen (Zie figuur 9). • U kunt de beweging op iedere gewenste hoogte laten stoppen door Figuur 9 Omlaag bewegen.

  • Page 15 De lader die gebruikt dient te worden voor de Elexo XXL is de ‘Mascot 2241’. • Als het indicatielampje op de lader groen oplicht is de accu voldoende opgeladen. De lader kan aangesloten blijven als de accu voldoende is geladen. Er treedt geen schade op wanneer de lader aangesloten blijft.

    The Elexo XXL can also be used as a toilet chair, in combination with a bedpan / bucket. The Elexo XXL comprises a base frame and chair component. The chair can be electrically, gradually adjusted in height, in relation to the base frame.
  • Page 28 • Set the Elexo XXL to the correct height before using with a toilet. • It is not permitted to charge the Elexo XXL with more than 220 kg / 485 lbs. • The Elexo XXL may not be used to transport loads other than people.

    2. Use 2.1. First use Before you use the Elexo XXL, you must check to ensure the components on page 30 are present. These components can be replaced by authorised individuals in the event of damage. These components are the applied parts of the Elexo XXL. These components may come into contact with the user(s) while the Elexo XXL is in use.

    • The brake can be applied on the Elexo XXL by pushing the gray lip on the wheel downwards (See figure 2). • To take the Elexo XXL off the brake, the gray lip on the wheel must be pushed upwards again.

    The armrest must not be used as a lever arm (e.g. when moving the chair over an obstacle) or as a push / pull bar. You must not sit on it either. This could damage the Elexo XXL and / or present a hazard. 3.5. Moving upwards / downwards Moving upwards •...

    Make sure that you push the plug into the correct position in the charging point. Only the original charger for the Elexo XXL may be used. If you use another charger, Lopital cannot be held liable for any consequences, such as damage to the electronics.

    2. Utilisation 2.1. Mise en service Avant de mettre la chaise Elexo XXL en service, contrôlez si le matériel décrit sur page 52 est complet. Ces composants, s’ils présentent un défaut, peuvent être remplacés par du personnel compétent. Ces composants sont des parties de l’Elexo XXL qui sont en contact physique avec le client.

    2. Gebrauch 2.1. Inbetriebnahme Bevor Sie den Elexo XXL Stuhl in Gebrauch nehmen, kontrollieren Sie, ob die Teile auf seite 74 vorhanden sind. Diese Komponenten können bei Beschädigung von befugten Personen ausgetauscht werden. Diese Komponenten sind die eingesetzten Teile des Elexo XXL Stuhls.

    • Der Elexo XXL Stuhl kann gebremst werden, indem die graue Lippe an der Rolle eingedrückt wird (Siehe Abbildung 2). • Um die Bremsen des Elexo XXL Stuhls zu lösen, muss die graue Lippe der Rolle wieder nach oben gebracht werden.

    3.3. Fußstützen • Bevor der Patient im Elexo XXL Stuhl Platz nimmt, werden die Fußstützen etwas angehoben und nach außen gedreht. Dadurch entsteht genug Platz, damit die Person sich einfach setzen kann. • Nachdem der Patient sitzt, hebt der Pfleger oder der Patient selbst zuerst ein Bein an, der Pfleger dreht dann die Fußstütze nach vorn bis diese in die Verriegelung...
