WARNING:
To prevent accidental starting that could cause serious
personal injury, always remove the battery pack from the
product when assembling parts.
ATTACHING THE BATTERY COVER
See Figure 2.
 Align the pins to the slots and press to snap the battery
cover onto the battery compartment as shown.
CONNECTING THE SPRAY WAND TO THE
TRIGGER HANDLE
See Figure 3.
 Insert the spray wand into the the trigger handle as shown.
 Slide the nut onto the threaded coupling and hand tighten
securely.
 Pull on the spray wand to be certain it is properly secured.
 Place the assembled trigger handle and wand into the
handle storage area.
WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with the product to make you
careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second
is sufficient to inflict serious injury.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields or goggles
marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could
result in fluids entering your eyes resulting in possible
serious injury.
ASSEMBLY
ATTACHING A NOZZLE
See Figures 4 - 5.
Two nozzles are provided with the backpack chemical spray-
er. The flat spray nozzle comes already attached to the 45°
elbow. Both nozzles can be used with or without the elbow.
 Thread the elbow onto the end of the spray wand. Hand
tighten.
 Attach the nozzle by threading it onto the elbow. Make
sure the connection is secure. Do not overtighten.
 If necessary, loosen the nut holding the spray wand to
the trigger handle. Rotate the wand until it is aligned with
the nozzle pointing downward and ready for use.
 Hand tighten. Do not overtighten.
ATTACHING THE HOSE
See Figure 6.
The hose comes preassembled to the trigger handle. If it
becomes loose, follow the instructions below.
 Slide the nut on the hose away from the hose end.
 Insert the hose end into the hose connector as shown.
Make sure the connection is secure.
 Slide the nut over the opening and hose end. Hand tighten.
Do not overtighten.

Do not use any attachments or accessories not recom-
mended by the manufacturer of this product. The use of
attachments or accessories not recommended can result
in serious personal injury.
Use safety equipment. Protect your eyes, skin, and lungs
while mixing, filling, spraying, and cleaning. Failure to do
so may result in serious personal injury and damage to
property.
