Bicycle trailers must only be fixed to the rear axle using special hitching devices. Child seats and trailers with clamp
mounting on the seat post or frame must not be used. Do not exceed the bicycle's maximum load with the addition of a
trailer.
Luggage racks and/or mudguards
For instructions on mounting luggage racks and / or mudguards, see "3.7 Mounting the luggage rack and mudguards".
Replacement of components
Before installing components and accessories, please read the respective manufacturer's manual.
Do not exceed the maximum weight (see "1.10 Weight limit" on page 31), even with all mounted add-on parts and
accessories!

If you want to make a warranty claim for your bike or individual components, you are obliged to return the entire bike and
not just the defective components. This is the only way we can check whether the requirements for statutory warranty
claims have been met.

Parts subject to wear
The components listed below should be checked regularly and replaced, if necessary:
• Tyres and Tubes
• Rims
• Brake discs and brake pads
• Bearings (headset, bottom bracket, hub bearings)
• Chain, cassette and sprockets
• Handlebars stem and grips
• Saddle and seat post
• grease, lubricant and brake fluid
• Gear cables and housings
• Stickers and paint
1.10 Weight limit
The ROSE HOBO is designed for a maximum weight of 110 kg. The following models are designed for a maximum system
weight of 120 kg:
• HOBO Deore MY24 with Ergotec seat post (2346043, 2346044)
• HOBO GRX 810 MY24 with Ergotec seat post (2346045, 2346046)
The system weight is derived from the weight of the cyclist, bicycle, gear (helmet, backpack, shoes, clothes), as well as any
trailer and its contents.
1.11 Exclusion of liability
The activities described in this manual should only be carried out by people with sufficient expertise.
The user is liable for damages resulting from:
• Misuse or any other cause beyond the range of the intended use (see "2.5 Intended use" on page 35)
• Non-compliance with safety regulations
• Improper assembly, repair and maintenance
• Use of unapproved replacement parts and accessories
• Change in state of construction
If in doubt, please consult the ROSE service team or a qualified bicycle mechanic.
