Problem
The shading solution moves down for
no reason.
The shading solution moves down
without any obvious reason, although
neither the sun threshold nor the twi-
light threshold is reached or is active.
No automatic function at certain
times.
Sometimes the automatic function is
not carried out when the sun
threshold is exceeded or the light
falls below the twilight threshold.
No function after changing the bat-
tery.
The sensor no longer functions after
changing the battery.

Remedy
Switch off the glass breakage func-
tion by briefly pressing the glass
breakage activation button. This will
make the LED briefly light up red.
Adjust the sensitivity by turning the
sensor clockwise or anticlockwise.
In the above case, turn the threshold
controller anticlockwise in order to
reduce the sensitivity.
If the glass breakage function is to
remain active, you can vary the trig-
gering sensitivity by turning the en-
tire sensor. The glass breakage
sensor is at its most sensitive when it
is attached in such a way that the let-
tering is horizontal. The sensor is at
its least sensitive when the lettering
is rising up at about 70°.
If this still doesn't cure the problem,
take the sensor off the window and
give it a good, short shake in order to
re-initialise the glass breakage
sensor (shake sensor).
Replace the battery, only using the
recommended battery type CR2032
from Varta or Renata.
Remove the battery, and use a small
screwdriver to bend one or both pins
so that they are straight. When rein-
serting the battery, make sure that
the battery is first attached to the
pins for the positive polarity.
