Descaling
If the water only runs very slowly through the device or the device is louder than usual
during the brewing process, it needs to be descaled. Use a standard descaling agent for
coffee machines to do this.
1. Pour a mixture of water and descaling agent into the water tank and switch on the
device (without any coffee powder). Consult the instructions for using the descaling
agent with regard to the ratio of water to descaling agent.
2. Allow all of the mixture to run through and repeat this process if necessary if the water
still runs through slowly.
3. After descaling, let water (without coffee powder) run through the device at least
three times to fl ush the lines, etc.
