5. TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of malfunction of Harvester follow these fault finding steps (with reference to figure 6):
The Harvester does not have enough power or has a low frequency
1. Check that the rods can move freely and remove any obstruction (twigs, leaves, olives etch...);
2. Check that the battery charge level red light on the control unit is off. The red light indicates
that the ower is below 10,5 V. In the event that the battery is connected to a vehicle it is
advisable to start the engine to charge the battery, if however the battery is an auxiliary
then it should be charged.
Overcome the above drawbacks by intervening directly.
The Harvester does not function
1. Check that the rods can move freely and remove any obstruction (twigs, leaves, olives etch...);
2.
Make sure the terminals are properly connected to the battery;
3.
Make sure the fuse (L) on the extension cable is not interrupted. Should it be broken, re-place
it with an original spare part or a part having the same features as that mounted by the
Manufacturer (max 20 amp);
4. Check the battery charge and recharge it if necessary;
5.
Check whether the cables within the connection plugs are properly connected (fig. 7);
