4.3. Seasonal maintenance
Referring to figure 6 of this instruction manual, if the machine is to be unused and stored for
a long period it is advisable to:
- switch off the Harvester by moving the switch (A) to the position "0" (off) and disconnect
the battery power lead;
- open the Harvester main body by removing the screws at points (F) and (I), remove the
upper head cover, clean the mechanical parts thoroughly and gears, apply grease before
closing the Harvester body;
- Clean well all the external parts;
- Lubricate with of dedicated gearbox grease (RETINAX HD2).
At the end of the equipment service life, it is forbidden to throw electronic components
into the trash. Dispose of them in accordance with applicable regulations in your country,
as specified in paragraph "2.3.1. Demolition and decommissioning".
