06. Data backup
This function backs up the saved DMX settings, light scenes and running light functions on a USB drive.
There are 16 memory slots available for this.
USB storage media with the file system FAT32 and a max. capacity of 32 GB are supported.
If the storage medium is not recognised by the DMX controller, switch it off and on again.
• Connect your USB drive to the USB port (3).
• Turn the dial switch PAN (11) until the above menu item appears in the display (12).
• Push the REC/ENTER (4) button.
• DATA BACKUP USB will appear in the display (12).
• Use the dial switch PAN (11) to select [YES] and push the REC/ENTER (4) button again.
• PRESS NUMBER KEY SELECT FILE appears in the display (12).
• Use the selection buttons 1-16 (9) to select the memory slot you want to start data backup. The
display (12) shows FILE:x (x = memory slot number) with a progress display.
Data backup must be performed separately for each memory slot. When the LED of a memory slot
is lit, this means that this memory slot has already been saved on the USB drive.
• When data backup has been successfully completed, the display (12) will switch back to the main level.
A folder with the name „show-design2" is set up on the USB drive. Every backed-up memory slot
is stored in the file „File" (consecutive number) with the extension PRO.
Do not make any manual changes to the backed-up data, since it would no longer be possible to
read in the data then.
