c) DMX Channel Assignment
The individual DMX control channels of your effect lights now only need to be assigned to the control
channels (channel fader and dial switch) of the DMX controller.
The DMX channel assignment of your effect lights can be found in the respective operating instructions.
If this is not done, the integrated programmes for moving heads or scanners and for effect lights
cannot work.
The following channel fader assignments are pre-set at the DMX controller:

If you have a moving head or scanner connected, its channels for PAN and TILT must be assigned to chan-
nels 17 and 18 of the DMX controller.
If you have an effect light connected, its channels for colour and total brightness must be assigned to the
channels 1-5.
• Push the MENUS/ESC (5) button for approx. two seconds to get to the menu.
• The display (12) shows the first menu item „01. Patch fixture" (if this is not the case, select the item with
the dial switch PAN (11)).
• Push the REC/ENTER (4) button; the display (12) shows PLEASE SELECT FIXTURE.
• Push the selection button 1-16 (9) of the effect light for which you want to change the channel assign-
ment.
To select the effect lights 1-16, level A must be selected with the PAGE (10) button. For effect
lights 17-32, level B must be selected with the PAGE (10) button.
