Cleaning / Maintenance
Before cleaning and maintenance work:

► Detach from compressed air connection!
6.1
Sandblasting tank
Check the sandblasting tank or tank lid regularly, at least 1x
a year, by visually inspecting for damage or changes to the
material (e.g., cracks ...). If in doubt, replace!
The sandblasting tank and tank lid are subject to a natural
aging process depending on ambient conditions and must be
replaced as standard after every 15 years of operation.
Note the year of manufacture on the round stamp engraved
on the sandblasting tank and in the tank lid; Our customer
service team are happy to advise you.
Example of an engraved round stamp:

To clean:
DO NOT use solvent-based cleaning agents or disinfectants.
Solvents and tensides can result in microcracking in the plastic (danger of explosion!).
⇒ Only clean the sandblasting tank and tank lid by rubbing with a dry cloth.

Condensation
⇒ Inspect the water separator.
⇒ Close the shut-off valve (Fig. 11).
⇒ Drain any water off through the valve (Fig. 12), employing the foot switch (Fig. 6).
6.3
Blasting Nozzle Replacement
⇒ Refer to insert no. 21-9162 for installation.
⇒ Inspect for abrasive residue.
⇒ Inspect the seal ring position.
6.4
Sandblasting Hose Replacement
⇒ Disconnect the foot switch from the air supply (Fig. 3).
⇒ Refer to insert no. 21-9162 for installation.
6.5
Cleaning the dosing nozzle
The dosing nozzle from the mixing chamber can become blocked due to contamination and moist blasting
sand.
For cleaning, remove the dosing nozzle using the supplied tool and replace it after cleaning.
⇒ Vacuum clean the blasting tank completely.
⇒ Hold the dosing nozzle with the tool and pull upwards (Fig. 13).
⇒ Clean the dosing nozzle (e.g. blow with compressed air).
⇒ Replace dosing nozzle.
Before remounting, the dosing nozzle should be completely dry!
⇒ The dosing nozzle must be adjusted with blasting tanks of 25 - 70 µm (Fig. 14)!
