5.3 Adjusting the Operating Pressure
⇒ Put in shut off-valve in a vertical position (Fig. 5).
⇒ Set the blasting pressure from 1 - 6 bar [14.5 - 87 psi] (Fig. 7) and in case you use a footswitch, it has to
be pressed additionally (Fig. 6).
5.4 Filling the Sandblasting Tank
Close the shut-off valve before filling the tanks (Fig. 11).
Do not write on or stick anything to the sandblasting tank and tank lid.
Do not press the foot switch while filling is in progress!
⇒ Unscrew the tank cover (Fig. 8).
⇒ Only fill with abrasives up to the max. fill height (thickening of the
tank cover underneath the thread) (Fig. 9).
⇒ Clean the thread on the sandblasting tank and tank lid as well as
the seal.
⇒ Screw the tank lid closed firmly by hand (Fig. 10).
Abrasive residue on the seal causes leakage and premature
wear of the seal.
Warning: Do not tilt the tank lid when screwing it on.
Check that the tank lid is seated securely prior to use. Tank lids that are not closed securely can
suddenly blow off. There is a risk of injury as a result of flying parts and sudden emission of abra-
sive sand.
⇒ Always use only clean, dry abrasive of the appropriate grain size (refer to the accessories).
The sandblasting unit is now operational.
5.4.1 Approved blasting materials

• Rolloblast (Renfert GmbH)
• ROCATEC (3M ESPE)
It is possible to process blasting materials from other manufacturers provided that the grain size, grain
shape and degree of purity correspond to the above-mentioned materials.
Renfert GmbH does not assume any liability for the function and service life of the equipment if other
blasting materials are used.
