Battery handling
1. Removing and installing the frame-mounted battery
The battery on electric bikes is attached to the diagonal tube and connected directly to the control
box.
WARNING - Risk of material damage due to water penetration. The motor and battery are protected
against rain and splashing water when the battery is attached. When removing the battery, water may
penetrate the contact points with the bike. Always make sure the bike is out of the rain when removing
the battery. If necessary, dry the contacts thoroughly before re-attaching the battery.
REMOVE:
• Turn the key to unlock the battery from the frame.
• Pull the battery vertically out of its case, keeping the key in the unlocked position.
INSTALLATION:
WARNING - Do not install the battery on the bike when it is switched on.
• Insert the battery as shown in the photo. The top part is first.
• Press firmly to lock the battery into the frame until you hear a click.
