Troubleshooting
This chapter summarises the most common problems you could
encounter with your iron. Please read the different sections for
more details.
Problem
The iron is plugged in but
the soleplate is cold.
The iron does not
produce any steam.
Guarantee restrictions
The following parts are not covered by terms of
the international guarantee:
- Cartridges
- Storage case
Possible cause(s)
There may be a
connection problem.
The temperature dial has
probably been set to
MIN.
There is not enough
water in the water tank.
The steam control has
been set to position O.
Solution
Check the mains cord,
the plug and the wall
socket.

Fill the water tank (see
'Preparing for use',

tank', for instructions).
Set the steam control to
the desired steam
position (see 'Using the
appliance', section 'Steam
