during ironing), the Calc-Clean function should be
used more frequently.

Steam and boiling water will come out of the

soleplate, flushing out impurities and scale (if any).

Repeat the Calc-Clean process if the iron still
contains a lot of impurities.
After Calc-Cleaning
- Plug in the iron to let the soleplate dry up.
- Unplug the iron when the amber pilot light has
gone out.
Set the steam control to position O.
Fill the water tank to the maximum level.
Set the temperature dial to MAX.
Put the mains plug in the wall socket.
Unplug the iron when the amber pilot light
has gone out.
Leave the filling hole cover open.
Hold the iron over the sink, press and hold
the Calc-Clean button and gently shake
the iron to and fro.
Release the Calc-Clean button as soon as
all the water in the tank has been used up.
