1.2 Designated use
The KS-Mobil mobile filling station is a tested
and approved Großpackmittel IBC (Intermediate
Bulk Container) in accordance with ADR for
hazardous goods in packaging groups II+III (mode-
rate and low-hazard liquid, water-polluting sub-
stances).
The filling station is intended for use at a variety of
locations outdoors.
It may only be filled or transported having under-
gone a valid inspection/check. Repeat inspection
by an expert is required 2½ years after the date
of manufacture. Repeat inspection by an officially
recognised expert is required 5 years after the date
of manufacture.
Note: The inspections have to be repeated in each
case after a time span of 5 years.
The filling station is additionally approved for use as
a storage tank in accordance with DIN 6623-2. The
regulations governing fire protection and industrial
safety must be followed!
Operating temperature range: - 10 °C to + 40 °C
Important!

Only a clean medium may be conveyed.
Correct use concerns, (preferably) the following
liquids:
• fuels with a max. ethanol content of 15 %.
• fuel mixtures.
Also permissible are:
• diesel fuel.
• heating oil.
• biodiesel.
Labelling with UN1202 is required for this.
In accordance with the ADR, the following are
required for the simplified transport of dangerous
goods (< 1000 points):
• labelling (sticker) of the filling station
• requirement to equip with a fire extinguisher (2 kg)
• carriage of supporting document
(in this case, carriage paper – observe national
exemption regulations)
(no carriage paper in German – exemption 18 S)

• compliance with the so-called "1000-points rule"
in accordance with table 1.1.3.6 ADR, i.e. total
quantity per transport unit < 1000 points.
» 1 l of petrol = 3 points
(333 l = 1000 points)
» 1 l of diesel fuel = 1 point
In accordance with the ADR, the following are
required for the transport of dangerous goods
(without simplification):
• labelling (sticker) of the filling station
• identification of the vehicle with orange plates
• requirement to equip with:
- 2 x fire extinguishers corresponding to the
mass of the transport unit
- chock
- two self-supporting warning signs
- hand lamp, safety vest, gloves, protective
eyewear for each member of the vehicle crew
- eyewash bottle
- shovel, channel covering, collecting container
• accompanying documents with:
- carriage paper
- written instructions
- photo ID
- valid ADR certificate

It is essential to read the relevant
regulations of the ADR.
1.2.1 Summary
The equipment is not intended for any other or
additional purpose.
For safety reasons, it is not allowed to make
modifications to the filling station. Correct use also
includes compliance with all information in these
operating instructions.
