Procéder à l'inspection de la machine dès sa
livraison et nous avertir immédiatement en
cas d'avarie par le transport.
- Vérifier que le moteur n'a subi aucun dom-
mage pendant le transport
- Vérifier les données de la plaque signalé-
tique
- Enlever le dispositif de blocage de l'axe
avant de faire tourner le moteur (systéma-
tique pour amP280 et 355 – quand roule-
ment à rouleaux pour amP180 et 225)
- faire tourner l'arbre à la main pour s'assurer
qu'il tourne librement
PréCAutIonS générALES
Les machines qui sont emmagasinées pen-
dant un temps prolongé (plus d'un mois)
avant leur mise en service feront l'objet d'une
attention particulière. Ce sont surtout les pa-
liers qui risquent d'être endommagés si cer-
taines précautions ne sont pas prises.
Ces dommages peuvent être causés par :
1. Les poussières et la saleté
2. L'humidité et la condensation dans les lo-
caux où les changements de température
sont importants.
3. La corrosion, en particulier lorsque les lo-
caux de stockage contiennent une atmos-
phère corrosive.
4. Les sollicitations mécaniques (vibrations
par ex.).

Précautions appropriées :
a) fermer toutes les ouvertures de ventilation.
b) Envelopper la machine dans un emballage
étanche à la poussière et à l'humidité.
c) Eviter de placer la machine sur un support
susceptible de vibrer.
Choisir pour le stockage un local tempéré, où
les variations de température sont pratique-
ment négligeables.
Les moteurs amP sont équipés en standard
d'orifices de drainage sur chaque plateau pa-
lier de telle sorte que les condensats soient
évacués que le moteur soit en position hori-
zontale ou verticale. Ce sont surtout les pa-
liers qui peuvent être endommagés quand la
machine repose sur un support vibrant. Pour
atténuer ce risque, il suffit de tourner l'induit
de quelques tours une fois par mois. Protéger
le bout d'arbre et s'il y a lieu la bride en les
enduisant d'une graisse antirouille.
MAnutEntIon LEVAgE
Les machines sont munies de 2 oreilles de le-
vage, qui sont dimensionnés pour soulever le
poids de la machine avec ses accessoires.

II. aCCePtaNCe CONtrOL
Check the machine consignment upon arrival,
and notify us immediately of any possible da-
mage the machine might have sustained during
transport.
- Check the motor has not been damaged during
transport
- Check the data on the plate of the motor
- Remove the shaft fixing device before turning the
motor (available on AMP280 and 355 – when roller
bearing for AMP180 and 225)
- Turn the shaft with the hand to be sure it turns freely

Particular attention must be given to machines
which have to be stored for long periods (more
than 1 month) before being installed. Bearings
are the main component that can sustain da-
mage if suitable precautions are not taken.
The following causes can damage the machine :
1. Dust and dirt.
2. Moisture and condensation when stored in
locations where there is a frequent variation
of temperature.
3. Corrosion. This applies particularity to atmos-
pheres containing corrosive gases.
4. Mechanical influences, such as vibration, etc.

Keep all ventilation openings covered.
Wrap the entire machine in a dust-and waterti-
ght material.
Do not store the machine on a foundation that
is exposed to vibrations. Store the machine in a
temperate location, i.e., a location in which tem-
perature variations are practically non-existent.
Avoid condensation in the windings by means
of a heating arrangement that ensures a higher
temperature than the ambient temperature.
AMP motors are equipped as standard with
draining holes on each end shields in order to
evacuate the condensate whether the motor is
horizontally or vertically mounted.
Bearing in particular can become damaged if
the machines are stored on a vibrating floor. The
effect of vibrational damage can, however, be
eliminated by turning the armature a few turns
each month. Protect the shaft extension and/or
flange against the formation of rust by coating
with a rust-preventive oil.
haNdLING
(lifting of machine)
All motors are provided with 2 lifting lugs. The
lugs are sufficiently dimensioned to enable the
machine with accessories to be lifted.
II. aBNahMeKONtrOLLe
Prüfen Sie die Motoren bei Anlieferung und in-
formieren uns unverzüglich bei jedem Schaden,
den die Motoren auf dem Transport genommen
haben können.
- Prüfen Sie, dass der Motor auf dem Transport
nicht beschädigt wurde.
- Prüfen Sie die Angaben auf dem Typenschild
des Motors.
- Entfernen Sie die Vorrichtung zur Fixierung
der Welle bevor Sie den Motor drehen (üblich
für AMP280 und 355 – bei Kugellager für
AMP180 und 225).
- Drehen Sie die Welle von Hand, um sicherzus-
tellen, dass diese frei läuft

Motoren, die vor der Installation für längere Zeit
(länger als 1 Monat) eingelagert waren, erfor-
dern zusätzliche Maßnahmen. Hauptsächlich
Kugellager können beschädigt werden, wenn
die notwendigen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen nicht
getroffen werden.
Folgende Ursachen können die Motoren
beschädigen:
1. Staub und Schmutz
2. Feuchtigkeit und Kondenswasser bei Lager-
bedingungen mit häufigen Temperaturs-
chwankungen
3. Korrosion – dies gilt insbesondere für Umge-
bungen mit korrosiven Gasen
4. Mechanische Einflüsse wie Vibrationen etc.

LaGerN
Decken Sie alle Lüftungsöffnungen ab. Wickeln
Sie die komplette Maschine in staubgeschütztes
und wasserfestes Material ein. Lagern Sie die
Maschine nicht auf einer Fläche, die Vibratio-
nen ausgesetzt ist. Lagern Sie die Maschine in
temperierter Umgebung, idealerweise ein Ort,
der keine Temperaturschwankungen aufweist.
Beugen Sie Kondenswasser in den Wicklungen
durch eine beheizte Umgebung vor, die eine
höhere Temperatur ermöglicht als die Umge-
bungstemperatur. AMP Motoren sind stan-
dardmäßig mit Trocknungsöffnungen an jedem
Schildende versehen, durch die Kondenswasser
entweichen kann, sowohl in horizontaler und
vertikaler Montage.
Insbesondere Kugellager können beschädigt
werden, wenn der Motor auf einer Oberfläche
gelagert wird, die vibriert. Die negativen Fol-
gen der Vibrationen können jedoch verhindert
werden, indem am Anker jeden Monat einige
Umdrehungen ausgeführt werden. Schützen Sie
das Wellenende und/oder Flansche gegen Rost-
bildung mit geeignetem Öl.
haNdLING
(anheben des Motors)
Alle Motoren verfügen über 2 Ösen zum Anhe-
ben des Motors. Die Ösen haben ausreichende
Abmessungen, um die Maschine mit Zubehör
anzuheben.
