ME10
4.5 Calibration signal
The measuring amplifier ME10 operates on a 6-wire technique, i.e. the cali-
bration and zero compensation signals are formed from the bridge supply vol-
tage fed back; thus they are independent of transducer, connecting cable and
pin resistances. If necessary, the sensitivity of the measuring amplifier can be
adjusted by means of an internal calibration signal of +1 mV/V with measuring
ranges > 1 mV/V. Here the switch S21 must be kept in the calibration position
and the appropriate value must be be set simultaneously by means of the po-
tentiometers P21 resp. P22. When using the factory settings calibration mea-
suring range 2 the setting of P22 must be altered.
4.6 Measuring Frequency Range / Cut-off Frequency f
The measuring frequency range has been set to 0...500 Hz with low-pass filter
by the manufacturer. Use S24/3 to reduce it to 0..2 Hz. The Butterworth low−
pass filter can be switched off using S24/6; the cutoff frequency will then be
10 kHz.
