Formatting a Disc

Use these instructions to format a disc.
Disable disc protection before formatting.
1 With the unit in Stop mode, press the MENU button
on the remote control.
Press the ...† buttons to select Disc Manager, and

then press the ENTER or √ button.

• If you select Yes using the œ √ buttons and
press the ENTER button, you will be prompted
with the confirmation message "All data will be
deleted. Do you want to continue?".

NOTE

Deleting All Title Lists

The disc protection should be disabled first.
With the unit in Stop mode, press the MENU

button on the remote control.
Press the ...† buttons to select Disc Manager, and

then press the ENTER or √ button.
Press the ...† buttons to select Delete All Title Lists,

and then press the ENTER or √ button.
