2.4.2 Read Text Packets

When a Read text packet is sent, the dispenser sends the requested data back to the client.
NOTE: Refer to "Diagram of Write Text Packet Communication between the Client and Dispenser" on page 47 for
a visual representation of the Write command sequence.
The Read text packet sequence is as follows:

If there is an error in the text packet, if it cannot be executed, or if the transmission was interrupted and timed
out (if the client takes more than 2 seconds to send a text packet), the dispenser transmits a Failure Command
( A2 ) text packet. Refer to "1.1 RS-232 Pin Assignments" on page 39 for details.
