Clamping the workpiece

Clamping
1. Insert the chuck key or safety key (1) into the drive.
2. Turn the key clockwise.
Ø The collet (2) moves back and clamps the workpiece.
3. Remove the key.
ü The workpiece is clamped.

Ø Observe operating data according to the drawing and technical
data.
Ø Wear personal protective equipment.
Chuck key not removed.
Ejection of the chuck key.
Ø Use safety key.
Ø Always remove the chuck key directly after clamping / un-
clamping.
