Environmental and operating conditions

The collet chuck is designed for the following operating or environmental
conditions:
Ambient medium
Place of use
Relative humidity (at 40 °C)
Potentially explosive environments
Ambient temperature at place of use +5 °C to +40 °C
Ambient temperature for storage
Pollution of the machine's surroundings caused by the machine itself is per-
mitted. However, perfect operation of the collet chuck must be ensured and
checked regularly. The collet chuck must also be cleaned of coarse contam-
ination (dirt and swarf) with a broom or brush for every tool change. The
clamping contact surface must be cleaned. In addition, the collet chuck
must be cleaned in accordance with the cleaning interval.
