– Connect gas supply pipe
Ø 10 mm to regulator outlet as
per the applicable installation
instructions for olive screw
connections. When tighten-
ing, carefully use a second
wrench to counterhold on the
key surfaces provided for this
purpose.
– Check inlet of SecuMotion gas
pressure regulator for leaks
(e.g. using a leak test spray in
accordance with DIN 14291).
– After installing the regula-
tor, check gas system for
leaks (see "Checking the low
pressure area for leaks") and
check the operation of the gas
flow monitor (see "Making
sure the gas flow monitor is
working properly").

Test must be conducted
by a technician!
– Turn off all consumers.
– Open shut-off valves.
– Remove the threaded cap
from the test connection (b)
and connect the test pump
with test hose onto the test
connection.
– Remove the test valve's (c)
protective cap and use an
open-end wrench (6 mm) to
turn the valve by 90 degrees in
the clockwise direction.

– Conduct leak test (in Germany
according to G 607).
– If the gas system is leaking,
close gas extraction valve,
repair gas system and leave
the gas extraction valve closed
for the time being.
– After check is complete, make
sure to turn the test valve back
(90 degrees counterclockwise
until it stops) and replace the
protective cap.
– Screw the threaded cap back
onto the test valve.
