OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

CHARGING PROCEDURES
The charging procedure starts as soon as the
mains plug of the charger is plugged into a
power socket and the battery (15) is inserted
into the charging compartment (14). Thanks to
the intelligent charging PCB (Protective circuit
board), the charging condition of the battery
is automatically detected and the battery is
charged in optimum condition. PCB takes into
account : Over Charging/Discharging, Voltage
and Current, Battery temperature, Short-Circuit,
Overload, Each Cell Unbalance (Out-put, In-put),
resulting in continuous optimum Voltage &
Current when Charging or Working. This gives
longer life to the battery and always leaves
it fully charged when kept in the charger for
storage.
Charge battery pack only with the
charger provided.
To charge the battery:
• Connect the charger to the power supply
(Make sure that the power supply is 120 volts
AC/60Hz.), the red light(11) is on.
• Attach the battery pack to the charger. The
yellow light(12) will flash with at a frequency of
one time every two second.
• When the battery is full charged, the red(11),
yellow(12) and green LED(13) are all lit.
Please note :
• With continuous or several repetitive charging
cycles without interruption, the charger can
warm up. This is not harmful and does not
indicate a technical defect of the unit.
• A significantly reduced working period after
charging indicates that the batteries are worn
out and must be replaced.

UNPACKING
• Remove all packaging materials
• Remove remaining packaging and packing

• Check that the package contents are complete
• Check the appliance, the power cord, the
power plug and all accessories for transportation
damage.
• Keep the packaging materials as far as possible
until the end of the warranty period. Then take it
to your local waste disposal system.
WARNING Packaging materials are
not toys! Children must not play with
plastic bags! There is a danger of
suffocation!

ASSEMBLY
Do not connect the battery before
your grass trimmer is completely
assembled.
Mounting the Cutting Guard (fig A)
• Place the cutting guard (9) on the trimmer
head.
• Hook the guard onto the trimmer head and
push until it fits securely
• Push rear of guard until it locks (click).
Fitting Cutting Disc/Fitting Blade (fig B/C)
• Press cutting disc onto drive adaptor as shown
(click) in fig B.
• Fit the blade, place the blade (8) over the pivot
