• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under
mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or
cold. Do not modify the mains cable, otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged
mains cable can cause a fatal electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket
(e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains
socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• In order to prevent the risk of an accident, a damaged mains cable may only be replaced by
the manufacturer, a workshop authorised by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Check the device for damage before using for the first time. If there are any signs of damage,
do not use the device and consult an expert or our customer service.
• Anyone operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this product must be
trained and qualified properly and observe these operating instructions.
• Attention, LED light:
- Do not look directly into the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Never look straight into the light source during operation. The bright flashes of light may
temporarily impair your eyesight. In addition, epileptic fits may be triggered under certain
circumstances in persons sensitive to such lights. This particularly applies to epileptics.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Never cover the product with filter films, screens or other materials. This can lead to heat
damage and constitutes a fire hazard.
• The device may become hot during use. Do not touch the exterior of the device during use.
Let the product cool down after use before touching or cleaning the exterior. It can heat up
to 80 °C.
• In order to ensure sufficient ventilation, the device or its ventilation slots must not be covered.
In addition, air circulation should not be impaired by objects such as magazines, table clothes,
curtains and other objects. During operation, keep a minimum distance of 0.5 m around the
device.
• Do not place any open flames, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the device.
• Only use the product in temperate climates, not in tropical climates.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.
