Step 1:
Call up the Evaluation parameter settings window
Step 2 (control settings):
The essential setting here:
− How will the measurement function be started/ended later in the process?
This is important as in the factory setting, evaluation with the OK/NOK deci-
sion is only implemented after measurement is completed!
It makes sense, when measuring force/displacement, for the Start setting to
be: "Channel x setpoint exceeded" (here displacement) and the Stop setting
to be: "Channel x return" (here displacement).
The standard end condition set is:
End: at external signal or when exiting start conditions
If the stop signal must come from an external controller, the stop condition
"External stop" should be selected. The "Start/Stop process" function can be
assigned to a digital input. This must be set in the menu "Digital inputs".
Status bar:
Information about the measurement process will be displayed here and also
later in measuring mode:
− Measurement sequence (e.g. running or finished)
− Reasons for an alarm (e.g. values outside the alarm window/machine pro-
tection)
− Reason for end of measurement (e.g. external stop)
