Disconnect the prewired controls from the power pack.
Note the wiring details, or refer to the wiring diagram in
the annex for further detail how to rewire the controls after
their installation in the side panel of the vehicle body.

Before fitting the control boxes in position, en-
sure that the fresh cuts in the steel side panel
of the body are sufficiently protected against
corrosion by means of zinc spray or equivalent
substance. [See Fig. 7.3]

Verify the alignment of the control boxes before
drilling the holes. Mount the control boxes to
the vehicle body by means of stainless steel
self-drilling screws, or drill holes and use
stainless steel rivets or bolts. Finish the mount-
ing of the control boxes by sealing off the
edges with a water-tight seam of silicone, both
on the inside as on the outside of the vehicle
body. [See Fig. 7.4]

Seek an adequate routing for the electrical cable of the
control boxes to the hydraulic power pack of the HTL.
Most vehicle brands and types are equipped with a dedi-
cated rubber diaphragm to pass the wiring from the inside
of the body to the underside of the chassis (without drilling
extra holes). [See Fig. 7.5]
