13. Clean the tap with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary.
14. Insert the nozzle spout into the tap from below and press it on fi rmly.
15. Disconnect the fresh keg adapter from the beer line. To do this, press the white button
on the fresh keg adapter and pull off the adapter for the beer line (18).
16. Connect the beer keg to the device ((see the "Preparation" chapter – "Tapping Into
and Connecting the Beer Keg" or "Connecting a Fresh Keg").
17. Plug the mains plug into an easily accessible plug socket.
18. Move the On / Off switch to position I to switch the device on again.
PLEASE NOTE: If disinfecting cleaner was used, allow a little beer to run into a glass
after rinsing through and pour this away. It might contain residues of the cleaner.
Emptying the Beer Keg and CO
1. Place a suitable vessel under the tap (3). The size of the vessel is dependent on the
amount of beer remaining in the keg.
2. Open the tap (Picture H).
3. Turn the pressure regulator (15) as far as it will go towards +. The remaining beer will
fl ow out of the tap and the rest of the CO
4. Close the tap when no more beer fl ows out of the tap and you can no longer hear
any hissing.
5. Move the On / Off switch (8) to the 0 position to switch off the device.
6. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
Changing the Beer Keg / Disconnecting it from the Device
PLEASE NOTE!
■ Never remove the tapping unit or the fresh keg adapter from the keg when it is not
empty and is still pressurised! Fully empty the beer keg beforehand.
1. Make sure that the device is switched off (switch position 0).
2. Open the lid (14) by pressing the release button (1).
3. Release the beer line and, if no fresh keg has been used, the CO
unit (20). To do this, press the white button on the valve (19 or 24) in each case and
pull off the adapter (21 + 18).
4. Take the keg out of the cooling container (11).
5. Remove the tapping unit (17) or the fresh keg adapter (25) from the keg.
Tapping unit: Release the mount (23) of the tapping unit from the keg by pulling
up the locking lug on one side of the mount with force (Picture N). The tapping
sword (22) can then be pulled out of the keg. You may need to apply a certain amount
of force to do this.
Fresh keg adapter: Press together the fresh keg adapter on both sides at the top
and pull it off (Picture O).
PLEASE NOTE: The universal adapter (28) is reusable. Remove it before the beer
keg is disposed of (Picture P)! Then clean the universal adapter in the manner de-
scribed in the "Cleaning" chapter.
A new keg can then be connected (see the "Preparation" chapter).
