Electrical connection of the liquid soap
pumps
On machines equipped with a liquid soap
connection, connect the wires directly on the
printboard next to the ground wire connection
(optional). Connect as indicated on the wiring
diagram.
The two connectors on the right give a tension
of 220V (max. 4A) which can be applied to
drive 220V – soap pumps. If more than 4A is
required, an external tension will have to be
used. Six connections have been provided, of
which one (S6) can be used to drive a
waterproofing pump (e.g. for rain coats, etc.).
5.9 AUTOMATIC LUBRICATOR
The bearing house of the machine is equipped
with a lubricating device (A) which
automatically lubricates the bearing during
one year. Upon delivery of the machine, this
lubricator has not been brought into use. To
this purpose, please, put on the machine
screw (B) in the appropriate lubricator
opening.
Ignoring this instruction will inevitably
cause damage to the bearings!
THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER
DAMAGE CAUSED BY INCORRECT
INSTALLATION.

7. USE AND ORDINARY
MAINTENANCE
7.1 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Open the door
Press button "A" and open the door.
Fill the drum
Sort the linen according to the quality and
the allowed wash temperature. Remove all
nails, coins, etc. that can damage the linen or
the machine during the wash cycle. Turn
sleeves of overcoats, shirts and blouses inside
out. To increase the wash action and thus the
quality of the wash, it is recommended to
mix large and small pieces.
If the machine is filled less than 80% of its
capacity, this could prevent good operation
and can even damage the machine.
Conversely, overloading the machine can
result in poor wash quality.
Close the door properly
Select program
See "Fiber EL6 Instruction manual", chapter
6.
Add detergent
Take the necessary soap compartments off
the soap dispenser and fill them with the
required detergents according to the program
chosen. Then put them back into the soap
dispenser, against the shaft of the drop valves.
Remark:
Bleach may never be added through the
soap compartments. Use the optional
external pumps at the back side of the
machine for this purpose.
7.2 USEFUL ADVICE
Remember that 80% of the machine's rated
capacity provides better wash results.
13
Mind that more soap does not mean better
wash: on the contrary, using too much
washing powder leads only to unnecessary
pollution. The right amount of soap is
indicated by the supplier according to the
relevant water hardness.
Unless specifically advised against, the use
of the water economiser is warmly
recommended, and so is the reduction of
maximum temperature, in order to curb water
and energy consumption and consequently
reduce cycle length.
Before loading the laundry make sure that
buttons, zips, clasps and buckles are facing
inside and pockets are empty.
At the end of the job do the following:
-
leave the door open;
-
turn the machine off by the main cutoff
switch;
-
close the hot water, cold water and steam
taps (the latter applies to steam-heated
machines only);
-
turn the wall cutoff switch off.
7.3 WARNING
- Do not leave the machine on to no purpose.
TURN the main switch OFF when the
machine is not used.
During use:
- Open the door only when the drum is still
and drained.
- In case of a potential drop, open the door by
the manual puller, down on the left. Before
opening the door make sure that the drum
has come to a complete stop, that the water
has been drained and the temperature is
lower than 40°C.
- Before any maintenance or cleaning
operation, check that the wall cutoff switch
is off and the hot water, cold water and steam
taps are closed (the latter applies to steam-
heated machines only).
- Do not load the drum with fabrics that have
been cleaned, dampened, washed or stained
with inflammable or explosive substances.
Otherwise, hand-wash them first.
- Keep inflammable liquids far from the
washing machine, in dry and ventilated
premises, out of the reach of outsiders.
- Keep cleaning products and washing
powders far from the machine, if possible,
closed in a cabinet.
- Do not hamper air inlets or heat-exchanging
openings. Keep an appropriate distance
between the machine and the walls or other
objects.
