MAINTENANCE

REPLACEMENT OF THE PAPER DUST BAG:

- Remove and throw it away.
- Use a new one ( order # 2.98.5330 set of 5 )
Frequency: in the worst conditions, replacement
may be necessary every second hour
REPLACEMENT OF THE OPTIONAL REGENERATING FILTER:
- Necessary when the smell of the glue is no longer neutralized.
- Open filter compartment (45) and replace both active filter and prefilter.

DRAINING THE GLUE TANK :

- Necessary when the glue turns brown or contains dust.
- Draining must take place with a warm tank glue completely melted).
- Stop (17) drum rotation.
- Open front lower guard.
- Lay a draining box (46) under drain tap (47).
- Open drain tap.
- Let the glue drain.
- (Draining is faster with (30) switched to 145)
- Close the drain tap.
- Reload with fresh glue.
CLEANING THE EJECTION PATH AND
NIPPERS AND EJECTION SHUTTER AND
NIPPER SHAFT(under cover stock) :
Necessary from time to time ( daily is best ),
otherwise the nipper will tend to freeze up
and you may blow a fuse.
Use a cloth with a detergent solution
( blanket wash).
Silicone spray helps stop the glue
sticking to the mechanism.
CAUTION: silicone in the tank
would ruin the glue.
