1.- First lighting up
We recommend that the first lighting up
should be on a low heat for 3 or 4 hours
7.- CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.- Enamelled front
Preferably clean when the hearth is cold.
Use a damp cloth dipped in soapy water
and then dry.
All brass items have been given a
protection treatment with the following
features:
Type: Polyester – TGIC
Used for interiors and exteriors
Temperature it withstands: 190ºC for
10' and 170ºC for 20'
Adhesion according to ISO 2409:
100%
Film: 40-50 microns
Humidity test according to ISO 6270:
1000 hours without losing adhesion
Salt spray test according to ISO 7253:
1000
hours without
corrosion points appearing.
Avoid
using
strong
abrasive products that could damage the
enamel.
2.- Glass-ceramic hob
The lower part of the glass-ceramic
hob should never be cleaned.
The outer surface should only be cleaned
with a scraper and products suitable for
glass-ceramic hobs; these are sold in
supermarkets,
superstores, etc.,...
Scraper:
This is used to clean food scraps, grease
marks, etc. when they are still hot, as
when they go cold they adhere to the
surface more strongly.
The scraper must always be to hand.
Cleaning products
bubbling
detergents
household
stores,
so as to stabilise the various parts and
thus avoid any possible breakages.
When the hob has cooled down, a
special cleaning agent for glass-ceramic
hobs can be applied wi t h kitchen paper.
Then rinse with a wet cloth and dry with
a clean one.
The use of highly absorbent sponges or
cloths is not recommended, as the liquid
part of the cleaning products is absorbed
to leave on their surface rough or highly
concentrated elements that may give rise
to scratches.
Preservative products exist that produce
a shiny protective layer against dirt.
If remains of tinfoil, plastic, sugar, or
other materials that melt quickly should
fall onto the
removed immediately wi t h the scraper
while the work surface is hot to prevent
it from being damaged.

Some materials from the bottoms of
containers may leave stains with a
or
metallic shine on the glass-ceramic hob.
There are products on the market that
can solve these problems.
Lime stains on the surface can also be
removed, but these can be avoided if the
surfaces of the containers are clean and
dry.
If suitable cleaning products are used,
the silk-screen printed decoration of the
glass-ceramic hob will not deteriorate.
If damage occurs to i t or stains appear,
this is solely due to the use of products
that are not specifically recommended
for glass-ceramic hobs.
Under no circumstances should metallic
sponges, scourers, knives, or any other
utensil that is liable to damage the
surface of the glass-ceramic hob be used
to clean the work surface.
