3.5 Track recording
• Your Rhino BLX is capable of recording up to 16 routes (tracks),
each up to 5 km long.
• To record a track, press button 14. Select a track number and
con rm on the display. The track can now be recorded with
the recording icon displayed. The status LED lights up blue.

• Select "Exit" from the menu to end the recording. Then select
"Finish" to save the recorded track according to the preset
track numbers (1 to 16).
• To delete an existing track, select it in order to overwrite or
delete it.
Note: Only the track is recorded, not the speed.
• You can record a track while your Rhino BLX is in Cruise or
Course mode. A su cient GPS signal must be available.
• Tracks cannot be recorded in Anchor mode.
3.6 Navigation mode (approach a spot and follow
a track)

Safety note: When entering or continuing in Navigation mode,
make sure that there are no hazards such as shallows, tree
stumps, rocks or other obstacles on the direct path between
your boat and the destination. Your Rhino BLX may also lose
the satellite signal and will not maintain its pre-de ned
course! Always maintain a safe speed in Navigation mode and
be alert at all times!
• Navigation mode is ideal for trolling and allows the user to
precisely follow a stored route up to 5 km long.
• You can use Navigation mode in conjunction with Travel mode
to achieve a perfect speed on this route. The speed in Travel
mode can then be adjusted manually. A su cient GPS signal
must also be available here.
How to proceed:
• To return to a saved spot (saved anchor point, see section 3.2),
press button 6 to enter Navigation mode. Then press the menu
buttons
for the stored spot number (within 400 m) and press "Con rm".

Select the desired speed and your Rhino BLX will navigate back
to that spot.
As soon as the target is reached, the system switches to Anchor
mode.
The display then shows the spot number, directional angle
(BRG) and distance. Further items in this menu: "Back" and
"Con rm".
