2.2 Switching on the motor and remote control
Motor:
14
• Press and hold the right button (On/O ) on the display on the
motor mount until all LEDs come on.
• The four lower LEDs indicate the battery status.
These LEDs light up in green or remain unlit depending on the
remaining charge.
• The upper middle LED is a status indicator. Its colour codes
indicate the functional status of your Rhino BLX GPS motor.
• Once the unit is turned on, the status indicator will initially
light up YELLOW while the unit searches for GPS signals.
• Usually a GPS connection is established within a few seconds.
Excellent GPS results are achieved outdoors at a certain
distance from tall buildings, bridges, etc.
• The status of the GPS signal is indicated in the upper left area
of the remote control display (see Fig. 2.1).
Remote control:
• Turn on the remote control by pressing and holding the red
button (3) for two seconds.
• Then release the button; the display lights up. The device will
now be automatically paired with the motor. The status LED
on the motor ashes green initially. After the motor has been
paired with the remote control, the LED turns solid green.
