Holes for inlet/outlet sockets may only be drilled within the
flat, marked free surfaces (see figure). Holes for conduit
pipe seals (up to the size illustrated) may also be drilled
on rounded surfaces.
Inlet sockets are available as DN 50 (art. no. 39005 ) or DN
70 (art. no. 39007).
Pipe penetration seals are available as DN 50 (art. no.
850114) or DN 70 (art. no. 850116).
Use the KESSEL hole saw (art. no. 500101) or equivalent
to drill holes for the additional pipes.
Only push the pipes in to such an extent that functional
units (e.g. float switches) are not impaired.

Fitting the electric components
Optional alarm probe (art. no. 20222, 20223)
Screw the probe holder to the pre-fitted thread.
Clip the probe to the holder.
Install the pump
Connect the pump to the pressure connection.
Lock the quick-release closure in position.
Pull the pump cable through the cable conduit.
Make sure that the float switch is hanging freely (at-rest
position).

Establish pressure pipe connection
Clip the pressure pipe set (art. no. 28040) onto the pres-
sure outlet.
The socket can be heard to "clip" into place.
Route the pressure pipe over the backwater level, or in
accordance with regulations and standard in your country.
Alternatively, the pressure connection can be glued in
place with a PVC U-pipe (DN 32).
