Technical refinements of the
Portuguese Chrono-Rattrapante
Your IWC watch shows you the time in hours, minutes and seconds. You
can measure any period in seconds and minutes with the integrated split-
seconds chronograph, and you can record intermediate times or a second
finishing time with the split-seconds hand (rattrapante). Stop times can be
added together. The case and the closure of your watch are made
of stainless steel, 18-carat gold or solid platinum. Your watch is protected
by a convex sapphire glass (hardness grade 9) and is water-resistant to
a depth of 30 metres (3 bar). To ensure that this exceptional watch can
continue to perform its tasks, you must follow a few important operating
instructions.
