2.3 Connection technique using spring
terminals
A screwdriver with a
maximum blade width
of 2.5 mm is required
for connecting the
cables. It is pressed
into the rectangular
opening (1). This
opens the spring
clamp. The stripped
cable end is inserted
into the circular
opening as far as it will
go (2). When the
screwdriver is removed
(3), the spring clamp ensures a firm cable
contact (Fig 6).
The cables
must be
stripped to a
length of 10 mm
(Fig. 7).

Groups of four spring terminals are connected to form
one signal block using a jumper element. The jumper
must be inserted completely.
