4.8 SAFETY DEVICES

The machine has the following safety devices:
Engine stop (Motorstop)
Lever n.1 fig.1, that controls engine stop, is kept pulled up when the machine is
working. If the handlebars are accidentally released, it immediately shuts the
engine off.
The lever can be clamped by retainer D fig.2 only to operate the machine's PTO
from a stationary position (irrigation, etc.).
PTO cut-out
The machine has an automatic device to prevent the PTO and reverse being
engaged at the same time during normal driving direction (cultivating).
when the handlebars are reversed for mowing operations, this cut-out is
automatically disengaged so that the PTO and reverse can be engaged
together.
IMPORTANT These safeties must be kept perfectly efficient. If they do
not perform their function completely, replace them contacting your
nearest Goldoni Technical Assistance Centre!

5. MAINTENANCE - CLEANING - LUBRICATION

5.1ENGINE

Refer to the engine operating and instruction manual.

5.2 FILLING WITH OIL

5.2.1 Gearbox

Check the moil level through plug n.1 fig.6 with the dipstick.
It is advisable to use AGIP ROTRA MP SAE 80W/90 oil.
First oil change, after the first 50-60 hours.
Change the oil every 800 hours. Amount required: approx. 4 kg.

5.3 REGISTRATIONS AND CHECKS

The indications below cover the main registrations to be made. These
registrations are quite uncomplicated. If you have problems, contact your
nearest Technical Assistance Centre.
