7. SPECIAL HAZARDS

7.1 ELECTRICAL HAZARDS

• The electrical installation must comply with the ITC-BT-18 regulation
on low voltage and also European Directive 2014/35 / EU.
• During repairs or maintenance work, the equipment areas should
not have any electrical voltage. Before working on these tasks with
the equipment, the absence of voltage must be checked with the
proper equipment. Prevent the electrical components such as the
pump motor, connections etc. from being sprayed with water in the
presence of voltage.

7.2 HYDRAULIC HAZARDS

• Only personnel with experience and knowledge of hydraulics may
perform work on the installations.
• Check the lines, pipes and fixtures regularly; if any leaks or
defects are detected, they must be repaired immediately.
• The components and the pipes which make up the circuits must
be released from pressure before beginning any repairs.
• Assemble the pipes properly, verify the length and quality of the
replaced pipes and check that the circuit has no leakages.
7.3 HAZARDS IN THE HANDLING OF OILS, FATS AND OTHER
CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES
• If chemical products are used, the manufacturer must supply the
technical data sheet and follow the instructions for use, attaching it to the
company's work safety documentation.
