It is important to establish certain criteria, whereby the maintenance of the
equipment is adapted to the actual working conditions, which will be different in
accordance with the actual characteristics of each particular task and
dependent on different factors, such as the work rate, dust in the environment,
humidity, the corrosive atmosphere and the material characteristics.
It should be considered that the times devoted to maintenance can be
scheduled at the most convenient times, affecting the work as little as possible.
Otherwise, if no proper maintenance of the equipment is performed,
breakdowns may occur at the most inopportune moment.
General measures for the maintenance of the equipment.
▪ All the parts of the equipment should be clean.
▪ Grease the metal parts regularly.
▪ It is advisable to regularly ceck the state of the fixtures and safety elements.
▪ Check all the components of the degassing valve every 3 months and
replace it in the event of any anomaly.
▪ Check for potential leaks from the system on a monthly basis.
IMPORTANT: When maintenance of the CLORIMAX has to be performed, it
should be put into operation at least 30 minutes before being opened.
2. MANTENANCE OF THE HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT
• Check that there are no leaks in the piping when the equipment is in
operation.
• Check the state of the fixtures, joints and valves every 3 months.
• Check all the pipes and replace those which are broken or damaged.
• If the CLORIMAX has a flow meter, the filter to be found at its inlet will
be cleaned regularly.
