This chapter describes how to use the
SETUP menu. Most settings and adjustments
are required to be set when you first use the
system.
Using the SETUP Menu
Using the SETUP menu, you can adjust the
picture size, set a language for the subtitles
and the OSD (on screen displays), limit
playback by children, et cetera.
Notes
< "PREFERENCES" cannot be selected if a
DVD movie has already been started. To
get to the preferences menu, you must
turn off the unit and turn it back on again.
MAKE SURE YOUR TV IS CONNECTED TO
THE DVD PLAYER AND TURNED ON. SETUP
USES ON-SCREEN MENUS TO PROGRAM.
1 Press the SETUP button to enter SETUP
menu.
Select the main item you want using the
5/b buttons, and then press the ENTER
button.
2 Select the sub-item you want using the
5/b buttons.Press the t button to go
to the right option list.
To change the setting, use the 5 /b
buttons, until the item you wish to change
is highlighted, then press the ENTER
button to confirm your selection.
< Use the g /t /5 /b buttons and the
ENTER button to select and set other
items.
< Use the number keys(0-9) to key in
numbers, such as the password for
parental control.
3 Press the SETUP button again to exit
menu.

Selecting the Language for OSD
(On Screen Display)

You can select the language for OSD (On
Screen Display). This setting allows you
select a preferred language for the OSD
menu and operating messages. The default
language is ENGLISH.

Ce chapitre décrit comment utiliser le menu
SETUP. La plupart des réglages et
ajustements sont requis quand vous utilisez
le système pour la première fois.
Utilisation du menu SETUP
Utilisant le menu SETUP vous pouvez réglés
les dimensions de l'image, la langue pour les
sous-titres et le OSD (affichage sur l'écran),
restreindre la lecture par des enfants, etc...
Remarque
< L'option PREFERENCES n'est pas
disponible quand un film DVD a
commencé à jouer. Pour obtenir le menu
"Preferences" vous devez éteindre
l'appareil et le ré-allumer.
ASSUREZ-VOUS QUE VOTRE TÉLÉVISEUR
EST ALLUMÉ ET BRANCHÉ AU LECTEUR
DVD. SETUP UTILISE LES MENUS SUR
L'ÉCRAN POUR LA PROGRAMMATION.
1 Appuyer sur la touche SETUP pour
engendrer le menu SETUP.
Choisir l'item principal désiré utilisant les
touches 5/b et ensuite appuyer sur la
touche ENTER.
2 Choisir le sous-item que vous désirez
utilisant les touches 5/b.
Appuyer sur la touche t pour aller vers
la liste d'option à droite.
Pour changer un réglage, utiliser les
touches 5/b jusqu'à temps que l'item
que vous désirez changés est re-haussé,
ensuite appuyer sur la touche ENTER.
< Utiliser les touches g /t /5 /b et la
touche ENTER pour choisir et régler
d'autre items.
< Utiliser les touches numérique (0-9) pour
entrer les numéros, tel que le mot de
passe pour controle parental.
3 Appuyer sur la touche SETUP de nouveau
pour quitter le menu.

Vous pouvez choisir la langue pour le OSD
(Affichage sur l'écran). Ce réglage vous
permet de choisir la langue préférée pour le
menu OSD et messgages d'opération. La
langue choisie par défaut est l'anglais.
