5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING
Unplug the charger before cleaning the device. Never clean the device in a dish-
washer. Do not use any cleaning products or hard brushes when cleaning the
device! Clean the device using only the methods specified. Liquid must not pen-
etrate the device or the accessories under any circumstances.
1. Check that the charger is unplugged.
2. Wet the callus attachment with alcohol for reasons of hygiene.
3. Clean the callus attachment with a soft brush.
4. The unplugged and cooled base device can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth or under
running water.
5. Then wipe the base device dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

7. DISPOSAL

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in household waste
at the end of its service life. Dispose of the device at a suitable collection point
in your country. Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose
of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment).
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for
waste disposal. You can obtain the location of collection points for old devices from the
local or municipal authorities, local waste disposal company or your dealer, for example.
Disposal of the battery
Remove the silicone sleeve and open the housing. Then remove the battery and dispose
of it properly.
The empty, completely flat batteries must be disposed of in specially designated collection
boxes, at recycling points or at electronics retailers. You are legally required to dispose of
the batteries.
• The codes below are printed on rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances:
Pb = battery contains lead,
Cd = battery contains cadmium,
Hg = battery contains mercury.
