In the seca 786/culta/cultura mechani-
cal dial scale you have acquired a highly
accurate and simultaneously sturdy piece
of equipment.
seca has been putting its experience at
the service of health for over 150 years
now, and as market leader in many coun-
tries of the world, is always setting new
standards with its innovative develop-
ments for weighing and measuring.
There are three variants of the seca 786.
For the professional sphere, it comes in
the form of a tall column scale without a
cover. A rod for measuring height can be
attached to this variant of the scale as an
alternative.
The two other variants, culta and cultura,
with a tall and a short column respectively,
are for private use.
The seca 786 is used primarily in hospitals
2. Safety
Before using the new scale, please take a little time to read the following safety instruc-
tions.
• Follow the instructions in the instruc-
tions for use.
• Do not drop the scale. Never expose
the scale to other forces (such as pres-
sure, tension or stress).
3. Before you start...
Unpacking

The scope of supply includes:

The culta has a tall column which makes
it especially easy to read off the weight.
The cultura has a short column which
makes it look particularly elegant. Both
models are intended for private use. They
are of the same quality and accuracy as
the medical scales used in doctors' sur-
geries and hospitals.
The maximum load on all models is
150 kg. Graduations are 500 g across the
whole weighing range.
The scale is very stable and will give you
long and loyal service. It is easy to operate
and the weight is easy to read off. The
scale can be moved on castors and can
thus be used on a mobile basis.
