Drive and measuring system
•
Use only reliable drive measuring system combinations for
the SPC10 approved of by Festo.
•
Observe the permitted fitting position.
•
Fit measuring system symmetrical to stroke of drive.
•
Fit drive, guide and measuring system free of play and flush
in direction of movement.
Specially for drive type DGPL-...-...-KF or DGP-... with suitable
guide:
•
Bilateral air supply, open up completely the adjusting screws
for the internal end position cushioning (PPV)
•
Use measuring system with same stroke length.
Specially for measuring system type MLO-POT-...-TLF:
•
Fit measuring system electrically isolated.
•
In dusty or dirty environments the measuring system must
be fitted with the actuating slide facing downwards
Specially for measuring system type MLO-POT-...-LWG:
•
In order to earth, connect ground cable on the flat plug of the
measuring system with the earth connection on the SPC10.
Fixed stops
•
Limit working stroke with fixed stops. With drives of type
DGP(L)-... the working stroke should not project into the ran-
ge of the end position cushioning.
Mass load
•
Fasten the mass load to the slide without play.
