5. Before starting up the equipment

Please read the following information before you
start using the cordless impact driver for the fi rst
time.
1. Charge the battery pack with the charger
supplied.
2. Only use screwdriver bits that are suitable for
the task and in perfect condition.
3. Before screwing into in walls and masonry,
check for concealed electric wiring, gas pipes
and water pipes.

6. Operation

6.1 Charging the Li battery pack
The corresponding instructions can be found
in the original operating instructions for your
charger.
6.2 Changeover switch (Fig. 2 / item 4)
The sliding switch above the On/Off switch is for
setting the direction of rotation of the cordless
driver and for preventing the cordless driver
from being switched on inadvertently. You can
select between clockwise and counter-clockwise
rotation. To avoid causing damage to the gearing,
the direction of rotation must only be changed
when the equipment is at a standstill. When the
slide switch is in the middle position, the On/Off
switch is blocked.
6.3 On/Off switch (Fig. 2 / item 5)
Infi nitely variable speed control is possible with
the On/Off switch. The further you push the
switch, the higher the speed of the cordless
screwdriver.
Switching on:
Press the On/Off switch (5).
Switching off :
Release the ON/OFF switch (5).
