The module SIG7100, thanks to the slot Common interface, receives a free-to-air or a coded digital signal from
a satellite antenna in DVB-S or DVB-S standard. It makes the audio/video signal available on the RCA output
connectors (only for program MPEG- compressed) and also in the Transport Stream distributed on the back-
panel of the headend.
So it can be installed stand-alone to
distribute only one program through
the RCA outputs or it can be connected
to the module SIG710 (COFDM
modulator) that, using Transport-
Stream flow, allow to distribute also
channel MPEG-4 compressed.
Every single module can generate
14/18V, a KHz tone and a DiSEqC 1.0
tone-burst to control multiswitches, if
any, or LNB (max 00mA@14V remote
power feed).
The device is equipped as follow:
1 input F connector (SAT IN) to connect SAT signal from LNB converter;
1 SAT loop-through RF connector (SAT OUT);
