When setting the stove up on flammable flooring (e.g. wood, laminate, carpet)
a floorplate (e.g. safety glass, steel, stone) must be used (Fig. 5):

NOTE: DISTANCE TO NON-FLAMMABLE MATERIALS
To avoid obstructing air circulation around the stove we recommend a
clearance of at least 5 cm in front of and next to the stove.
NOTE: TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE MATERIALS
Temperature-sensitive materials such as glass or plastic may require greater
clearances than the safety distances specified.
The safety distances specified also apply for highly-insulated components
with a thermal insulation resistance of R ≤ 8 m²K/W.
