Flying the 12XT, 112P, or 115XT HiQ enclosure with the XTLIFTBAR

6.5.1

Assembling procedure

!
All along the assembling procedure, strictly follow the sequence of the successive steps.
WARNING
1.
Remove both ball locking pins from the XTLIFTBAR.
2.
Select and lock the azimuth angle as described below:
a. Insert the XTLIFTBAR stud into the 12XT, 112P, or 115XT HiQ enclosure's top pole-mount socket.
b. Select the desired azimuth angle in 10° steps (directivity in the horizontal plane).
Note: If site angle setting is needed (directivity in the vertical plane), select the 0° azimuth angle (parallel to the
sides of the enclosure).
c. Engage both ball locking pins to secure the XTLIFTBAR to the enclosure.

Verify that both ball locking pins are locked by pulling on them.
WARNING
!
If site angle setting is needed, ensure that the XTLIFTBAR is in the 0° azimuth position in order
to properly balance the center of gravity.
